John,

Evil beyond imagination struck in the Congo, where radicals ambushed a funeral, massacring 100 mourners – mostly Christians.

In America, we witnessed the depraved evil of radical Islam on 9/11. In the Congo (DRC), Christian communities bear the brunt of this brutality on a near-daily basis. Funerals, church gatherings, and community events have become deadly targets of radical Islam.

Our sources on the ground tell us the victims were the young and the elderly. They describe scenes of extreme brutality – including beheadings by the ISIS-linked militias.

A survivor recounted: "I saw machetes. They told people to gather in one place and started cutting them. I listened to people screaming, and I fainted."

The ACLJ is committed to defending Christians beleaguered by atrocities. I recently delivered a major oral intervention at the U.N. on behalf of persecuted Christians in the Congo. And we are preparing to return to the U.N. to continue that advocacy, but we need your voice.

Take action with us and save dying Christians in the Congo.
