I wanted to send you a quick note, and thank you for supporting our campaign this past quarter. Because of grassroots supporters like you, we blew past our goal and have incredible momentum going into the last four months of the campaign.

I decided to run for Congress because, as an emergency physician, I saw how important it was that every American have access to quality, affordable healthcare. Now, more than ever -- and especially in Arizona -- we need leaders who will fight for everyone, not just the people who voted for them. We need leaders who will put facts, science, and the guidance of experts before politics.

In these difficult times, I’m so thankful to have your support -- and your voice -- on our side. Our state and country deserve so much better than the career politicians we have now who turn every issue and crisis into a partisan ploy, regardless of the real-life consequences to our families. Every single day, we are working hard to deliver that “better” through a fierce change in leadership. Together, we will win!

Doctors are trained in facts, data, and objective evidence. Not in politics. So, I close with this public health guidance: please stay safe by wearing your masks, staying home except for essential needs, and look out for each other. We’ll get through this if we all do our part. Take good care.
