The Tax Office does not ask for banking information through text. This week, we were alerted by a taxpayer awaiting a property tax refund that banking information was requested through text. This is a scam. The Tax Office does not communicate through text. Notify our office if you receive a request for information through text - call us at 817-884-1100 or email [email protected].
