The Winchester City Council is currently entertaining the idea of changing Jubal Early Drive. I am opposed to this idea. What’s next? Will we be debating if we should rename Jefferson Street or North or South Washington Street? I am opposed to rewriting history, we should strive to put the past in the proper context, not erase it. If you are tired of the cancel culture and erasing history sign your name here and let us prevent here.
