Hi John, 

Do you remember the first time you saw the redwoods? Maybe you were a child on a family trip long ago, or perhaps as an adult on a more recent adventure. Whatever your experience, we'd love for you to take a moment and reflect on why the redwoods matter to you.  

In my work as the League’s education manager, I get to watch as children are struck with awe by the redwoods—often for the first time. These moments not only enrich the lives of young people but also help us develop tomorrow’s stewards of these wonderful giants.

We want to hear from you! As someone who supports our vision to safeguard the redwoods and its inhabitants, we invite you to share your thoughts and memories of the redwoods.

What would you tell your younger self about the redwoods? What do you think kids will be curious about when they visit the redwoods?

Did you know that some redwoods can live for over 2,000 years? Imagine all the stories they could tell!
