Join us in demanding better out of our members of Congress
If you're like many people across the country, John, budgets are tight. Now imagine one more monthly bill: your usually free weather forecast.
The Trump administration is proposing just that. It wants to take away free and accessible weather reports — unless we fork over some of our hard-earned cash.
The United States has long been a global leader in meteorology, and that has allowed us to be prepared when extreme weather strikes. Taking away access to this crucial information is, to put it frankly, cruel, foolish and dangerous.
This is not the future I want, John, and I doubt you do either. Join me in demanding our members of Congress fully fund critical weather services. Take action now with just 3 clicks. [link removed]

President Trump’s administration and its allies in Congress are systematically taking away the information and resources we count on to protect ourselves.
Since January, the National Weather Service has lost more than 600 meteorologists, hydrologists, technicians and others who study and track storms and provide emergency weather alerts. They have also been ordered to stop keeping track of billion-dollar disasters.
The Trump administration’s willful disregard of pollution and continued denial of climate change won’t stop climate disasters from happening. In fact, even more of us will face greater risk and be burdened with higher costs than we already face.
What most of us want, wherever we call home, is the ability to go to school, work or the grocery store safely. The Trump administration and their allies are only delivering more debt, more pollution and more danger. Take action now and demand that the U.S. continues to fund weather research, resilience and reports. [link removed]
