Let’s be honest: Trump gutted funding for the arts, called journalists the “enemy of the people,” and calls reporters he doesn’t like “nasty women.”
Now MAGA Republicans want to slap his name on a cultural institution that honors President John F. Kennedy — an American hero and proud champion of the arts?
It’s offensive. It’s absurd. It’s MAGA politics at its pettiest.
But if we don’t act now, they’ll get away with it — and Trump’s name will be cemented in stone where JFK’s once stood.
Let’s protect history.
