While President Trump prepares an Executive Order requiring voter ID nationwide, Americans should know Texas already led the way.
In Texas, voter ID is the law because protecting the integrity of our elections is just common sense.

Think about it:
You need an ID to drive a car.
You need an ID to board a plane.
You need an ID to buy alcohol.
You even need an ID to pick up concert tickets.
If ID is required for everyday life, it absolutely should be required for something as sacred as voting.
That’s why Governor Abbott signed legislation into law that escalated any election fraud to a felony offense, making Texas elections among the most secure in the nation!
Texas will continue to lead the way in defending the integrity of our elections.
