JOHN, Doug Collins is systematically dismantling the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Tens of thousands of VA staff have already been forced out, and he plans to eliminate a total of 30,000 jobs. DOGE used AI to cancel countless contracts without proper review, leaving VA staff and patients in the lurch. He’s spending $34 billion in funding for the VA on privatized care, a 55% increase. 60,000 VA staff are up for a raise, and Collins hasn’t given it to them. And now, he’s stripped all of them of their union and collective bargaining rights.

All this from a guy who said he’d be the “biggest cheerleader” for VA staff. He got confirmation votes because of his supposed “commitment” to the VA, and as soon as he got into office he started throwing it into the wood chipper.

But what can we do about it?

Well, think about this for a minute: Trump and MAGA didn’t get into power by sitting around and feeling sorry for themselves. They did it by kicking and screaming, whining about every little thing. They act like toddlers, but we gotta hand it to them. It worked.

If we want to start getting results out of the VA the first thing we need to do is get angry and loud. Real loud.

So, today, we’re asking you to yell at Doug Collins.

Add your voice here and demand that Doug Collins make good on his promises. Be the VA’s biggest cheerleader. Stop the privatization, give your staff their raises, restore their collective bargaining rights, and make sure every VA employee gets to exercise their constitutional rights.
