Senate Confirms Former FAIR Staffer Rob Law to Key DHS Position ([link removed])
The Senate confirmed Rob Law to serve as Undersecretary of Strategy, Policy, and Plans at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Law was confirmed in a largely party-line vote of 49 to 46, with all Democrats opposing and all but one Republican supporting.

The Stop Illegal Entry Act increases penalties for aliens illegally entering or re-entering the United States, including those convicted of crimes. The final vote was 226-197, with 11 Democrats joining all Republicans in support.
