Today, following public attacks on their missions, over 100 philanthropic organizations published an open letter in defense of the non-profit sector, the freedom to give, and the freedom of speech. A closing call from that letter states:
“Now is a moment for leadership that drives unity rather than sows further division.”

In a moment when political violence and divisive rhetoric threaten the foundations of democracy, WOLA's work is about providing people in positions of power with the analysis they need to make informed, rights-respecting decisions.
