Since March, this community has sent more than 100,000 letters to Congress -- urging lawmakers to protect hospitals and health systems and to prioritize patient care during the coronavirus pandemic. Those letters were key in Congress passing the CARES Act, which secured immediate, vital funding for hospitals and health systems on the frontlines.

The power of our collective action was amazing! But there is more work to do. Later this month, your members of Congress will vote on the next coronavirus relief bill. We need to ensure this new legislation gives hospitals and health systems the resources they need to defeat COVID-19. When the vote is scheduled, we'll need to act quickly, so right now is the time to get ready.
