The 2026 Building Michigan Communities Conference (BMCC) returns to the Lansing Center on May 12–13, 2026, and we need your expertise to deliver the biggest and best affordable housing event possible.
BMCC brings together more than 1,200 housing financiers, developers, asset managers, homeless service providers, elected and public officials, and policymakers to explore innovative solutions to tackle housing challenges and build stronger communities.
We’re seeking innovative, thought-provoking proposals for 60-minute sessions that deliver meaningful and actionable takeaways for attendees.
Proposals should align with one or more of these five BMCC topical tracks:
- Asset Management
- Community & Economic Development
- Homeownership Finance & Development
- Preventing & Ending Homelessness
- Rental Finance & Development
Deadline: Proposals are due by Friday, October 17, 2025.
Accepted proposals will be announced by Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
We look forward to seeing the proposals that will help us shape the conversations and connections that drive Michigan’s housing future.
