First, I wanted to pause and thank you for everything you did for our campaign last quarter. Thanks to folks like you, we hit our fundraising goal ahead of last night’s FEC reporting deadline.

Second, I want to share a new public poll showing this race tied:

North Carolina Senate - ECU
Cal Cunningham (D) - 41%
Thom Tillis (R) - 41%

We all know the polls will go up and down — in fact, many of them show us ahead! — but the truth is, North Carolina’s Senate race will be a squeaker, and everything we do right now matters. Outside Republican groups are already planning to spend tens of millions of dollars here and most pundits expect this election will be the most expensive Senate race in all of 2020.

So, I want to start July off by thanking you for all you’ve done. We’ve got some serious momentum, and that’s thanks to folks like you. But we have to keep it going. That’s why I’m asking you to make a donation to ensure our campaign has the financial resources to respond to every attack and reach as many voters as possible in the final stretch of this election.
