Our candidate, Xp Lee, won his special election last night in Minnesota!

Xp’s victory honors the legacy of the late Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman by stopping Republicans from taking control of the State House and blocking progressive legislation.

Democrats are seeing unprecedented success in Trump-era special elections, and our Sister District community has played a key role in that progress. This fourth special election victory builds on our work to elect Senator Catelin Drey, who ended the Republican supermajority in the Iowa Senate, along with Senator Kannan Srinivasan and Delegate JJ Singh, whose wins kept the Virginia legislature in Democratic hands.

We know lasting power is built state-by-state, district-by-district, John. As we celebrate another incredible special election victory, we’re also laser-focused on:
