Registration is now open for the Fall Outdoor Skills Day at Camp Beech Cliff!
Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (MDIFW) offers Maine Outdoor Programs, providing hands-on learning experiences for all skill levels. These programs help participants build and enhance skills in hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor preparedness, and wildlife viewing in a supportive and engaging environment.
This fall Maine Outdoor Programs is partnering with Camp Beech Cliff for another day of fun and outdoor learning. Join us for a one-day event offering adults (18+) the chance to build confidence and learn new skills in a welcoming, inclusive environment. This program will be your compass in a whole new world of outdoor recreation adventures. You'll be surprised where new outdoor skills can take you!
Participants will register for one of these workshops for the morning session and another for the afternoon session:
- Learn to Hunt
- Intro to Fly Fishing
- Reading the Forested Landscape
- Beneath the Surface: Exploring Lake Ecology
- Survive and Thrive: Intro to Bushcraft
- Intro to Archery and Bowhunting Skills
- Tools and Tricks for the Budding Naturalist: Fungi, Trees, and Wildlife
You won't find a more supportive and welcoming environment to build new skills as a naturalist, outdoor survivalist, paddler, and hunter. They say the beginning is a very good place to start, so let's start there together!
Register today and choose your favorite workshops before they fill up!
