Riedel Issues Statement on Charlie Kirk

"I was shocked and heart broken to hear of the assassination of Charlie Kirk yesterday. Charlie was a husband, father, and patriot who inspired a generation. As we all mourn this incredible loss, we must not back down from the values that Charlie held and fought for everyday. Please join Danette and I in continuing to pray for Charlie's family and our nation."

On Wednesday, September 10, Charlie Kirk's life was taken because he fought for the values that our nation was founded on: faith, family and freedom. This was not only a fatal attack on Charlie, but also on the soul of our nation. In the face of this tragedy, conservatives have come together across the country to hold vigils and memorials to honor Charlie’s legacy. In less than one week since the attack, Turning Point USA has received more than 54,000 requests to start or join a Turning Point Chapter in communities all across the country.

County Fair Season Wraps up in Northwest Ohio



With fair season officially over in District 1, Craig and Danette are happy to say they visited each of the 10 county fairs several times. Over the past month, Craig made it to the Defiance, Hancock, Van Wert, Fulton, Hardin and Williams County fairs to both volunteer and talk with voters. Craig took part in the Fulton County veteran's lunch where he helped serve food and thanked every veteran for their service. At the Williams County fair, Craig volunteered his time in the Pork Producer's stand where he helped serve food to fair-goers.

Craig & Danette Host Defiance Fundraiser

Craig and Danette hosted their first campaign fundraiser this month in Defiance. Many Defiance County locals came to show their enthusiasm for Craig's campaign. Craig was grateful and encouraged from the outpouring of support that he and Danette received.

Riedel Campaign Announces Upcoming Fundraisers

The Riedel campaign will be hosting several additional fundraisers this fall, with the next two coming in October. The next fundraiser will be held in Indian Lake, with a fundraiser in Findlay to follow. Craig and Danette are very excited for the momentum and support already building behind these upcoming fundraisers.

Craig Speaks at 9/11 Memorial Ceremony

Craig was honored to participate in the Defiance Firefighters Local 918 9/11 Memorial Service. Craig spoke on the impacts and aftermath of the day that shook our nation 24 years ago. Craig also spent time commemorating the firefighters and first responders that immediately stepped into the line of duty. These brave men and women showed what it truly means to be an American.
