Protecting Families From Lead Paint
Letitia James secured a major settlement with a Buffalo landlord who repeatedly ignored lead safety laws, endangering children. This victory invests over $500,000 into remediation and tenant relief, ensuring families can live in safe and healthy homes.

Fighting for Immigrants
When the Department of Homeland Security tried to rewrite immigration law to allow indefinite detention without bond, Letitia led a 20-state coalition to challenge this unlawful policy. No government can erase due process or deny basic rights to families and communities.

Beating Illegal Tariffs and Lowering Costs
Once again, the courts sided with us and struck down Trump's fake "economic emergency" tariffs. These tariffs were nothing more than a tax on working families and businesses – and now they're illegal, putting money back in New Yorkers' pockets.
