If you know a public safety officer whose actions have demonstrated extraordinary courage, now is the time to honor them. 

*The nomination period for the 2024-2025 Medal of Valor closes on October 3 at 5:00 p.m. ET.* Public safety officers must be nominated by the chief executive of their employing agencies for events that took place between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.
