Notorious right-winger Nancy Mace just introduced a resolution to strip Ilhan of her committee assignments.

Let’s be clear about what’s happening here: Rep. Mace is lying to gin up right-wing anger against Ilhan. This political stunt is personal — the result of years of xenophobic, islamophobic, and racist attacks that started the moment Ilhan was elected.

Nancy Mace knows that Ilhan does not support political violence. But the truth doesn’t matter to her because she knows that if she stirs up a fight she can get on Fox News and maybe get Trump involved. And what do you know...

It doesn’t matter that Nancy and the GOP are the party that pardoned the January 6 attackers and treated them as heroes. It doesn’t matter that they’re the party that celebrated and mocked Paul Pelosi after he was attacked. They’re just looking for any excuse to come after Ilhan. It’s pathetic, but it’s the truth.

John, Ilhan has never let the right-wing attacks stop her, and she’s not going to start now. But she can’t take them on alone. Nobody can. It’s going to take a movement. So we need to know:
