At Her Bold Move, we are proud to have endorsed Kimberly Pope Adams for Virginia's House of Delegates District 82, and we’re excited to share an update from her campaign.

First, quick background/why we at HBM care: Virginia is the last and only safe haven for abortion access for the millions of women in the south, and Kimberly is on track to unseat the strictly anti-choice incumbent Republican in her district. As our current presidential administration has openly expressed its desire to roll back women’s rights, we will be looking to state governments to defend us – we need more pro-choice, pro-women women in the rooms where state laws are being written.

The update: Kimberly’s campaign has officially launched their FIRST television ad of the 2025 general election. This is a major milestone for her candidacy.

It costs approximately $22 to reach 1,000 viewers (!!) with this new television ad. Will you help us ensure Kimberly has what she needs to get the word out ahead of Election Day? (Reminder: Election Day in Virginia is happening THIS YEAR – and it’s less than 2 months away!)

Kimberly’s opponent is Del. Kim Taylor, who is vocally anti-choice. Her family is affiliated with Crisis Pregnancy Centers, which are fake clinics aimed at misleading pregnant women about their healthcare options. She has also sponsored a bill that would apply criminal penalties for abortion services.

Back in 2023, Kimberly was on the ballot against this same opponent. She lost by only 53 votes. She is ready for a rematch, but this time she’s going to win. Check out her ad to see why! [link removed]
