A message for our supporters:

PLEASE TELL 10 PEOPLE about the initiative to SAVE PROP. 13!

We urgently need your help to save Proposition 13. To get our initiative on the ballot, we must collect 200,000 signatures every month until the deadline. We can't afford to fall behind now.

If you possibly can, PLEASE TELL 10 PEOPLE about the initiative to SAVE PROPOSITION 13. It will:

* Restore Prop. 13's requirement for a two-thirds vote to pass local special taxes, no exceptions.
* Restore Prop. 13's ban on "sales taxes on real estate" called transfer taxes, and repeal them.

The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association must collect a minimum of 875,000 valid signatures of registered California voters, and that means we must collect more than a million signatures to make sure we have enough to qualify for the ballot. We have only five months to do it.

While many thousands of people have already signed the petition, we are currently at risk of missing our target for September.

Please help by telling 10 people that they can go to SaveProp13.com to get the official initiative petition, then just print the petition on any printer, on one sheet of ordinary letter-size paper.
