Trump Lands in UK

Look for a day of pageantry, which will include meetings with King Charles, Queen Camilla and Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Telegraph: Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, have landed in Britain for his unprecedented second state visit. The US president and first lady arrived at London Stansted Airport and held hands as they walked down the steps of Air Force One before being welcomed by members of the King’s Colour Squadron, of the Royal Air Force. The couple were greeted on the tarmac by Warren Stephens, the US ambassador to the UK, Yvette Cooper, the Foreign Secretary, and Viscount Hood, the Lord-in-Waiting, on behalf of the King…. Before his departure, Mr Trump praised his “elegant” friend the King and described how “honoured” he was to be hosted at Windsor Castle, which he declared “the ultimate” royal residence compared to Buckingham Palace. “He’s been a friend of mine for a long time, and everyone respects him, and they love him,” he said of the King. “Tomorrow’s going to be a very big day” Outside the White House, Mr Trump said: “They have never used Windsor Castle like this before – they use Buckingham Palace, I don’t want to say one is better than the other, but Windsor Castle is the ultimate” (Telegraph).

Alleged Assassin Engaged in Discord Chats With Upwards of 20 Users
And nobody, apparently, sent the FBI a “head’s up.” Beyond disturbing. New York Post: FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed Tuesday that “a lot more” than 20 people are either under investigation or have already been interrogated by federal investigators for discussing Charlie Kirk’s assassination in a Discord “chatroom.” “I see the public reports that the Discord thread had as many as 20 additional users,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) pressed Patel during a Judiciary “It’s a lot more than that,” Patel revealed. FBI Director Kash Patel told the Senate Judiciary Committee that the bureau is investigating over 20 people who were in a Discord group chat with Tyler Robinson ahead of the Charlie Kirk assassination. “We’re running them all down.” “Did Mr. Kirk’s assassin act alone?” Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) subsequently asked Patel during the oversight hearing. “There are a number of individuals that are currently being investigated and interrogated — and a number yet to be investigated and interrogated related to that chatroom,” Patel answered. “So others could have been involved?” Kennedy inquired. “Yes, sir,” Patel replied (NY Post). This brings up more questions about Discord, whose spokesman earlier said: “In the course of our investigation, we identified a Discord account associated with the suspect, but have found no evidence that the suspect planned this incident or promoted violence on Discord,” a spokesman said in a statement (Newsmax).

Los Angeles Times Disputes Trump Assassin Was Motivated by Transgender Ideology
The Los Angeles Times disputes that the bullet casings included etchings of transgender ideology. Actually, they call it transgender “ideology”—as though there’s a dispute that such a thing as transgender ideology actually exists. From the LA Times: Wall Street Journal reported on a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives report that suggested — seemingly erroneously — that etchings on bullet casings found with the rifle suspected as being used in the shooting included transgender “ideology” (LA Times) The actual bullet casings: 1. Notices Buldge OWO what’s this?”—referring to a transgender recognizing male anatomy, 2. “hey fascist! CATCH! ↑ → ↓ ↓ ↓”—referring clearly to antifascist ideology, 3.  “O Bella ciao, Bella ciao, Bella ciao, Ciao, ciao!”—an Italian song used as an antifascist rant and 4. “If you read This, you are GAY Lmao”—no explanation needed (KUTV). More from the LA Times: “The obsession with tying trans people to shootings is vile & dangerous,” state Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco), one of California’s leading LGBTQ+ voices, wrote on social media (LA Times). It would seem that the danger is to those with courage to critique transgender ideology in public.

Israeli Defense Forces Expanding Ground Offensive in Gaza City
Prime Minister Netanyahu and the IDF are pressing for a definitive military win against the terror group. Netanyahu is doing it in the face of massive pushback—domestically and internationally. Times of Israel: The Israel Defense Forces confirmed Tuesday that it had launched a controversial  and long-expected major ground offensive in Gaza City, as local medics said dozens were killed and injured in strikes, and the desperate Israeli families of hostages held in Gaza said they were “terrified” for their loved ones. The IDF said that it had “begun destroying Hamas infrastructure in Gaza City,” confirming the start of a major military push in the area after heavy bombing overnight. The start of the operation was also confirmed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said that Israel “has begun an intensive operation in Gaza City” (Times of Israel). Effie Defrin of the IDF: Gaza City is the central hub of Hamas’ military and governing power. The main stronghold. Hamas has turned Gaza City into the largest human shield in history. Beneath the streets runs a vast network of tunnels, connecting command centers, rocket launches, and weapon storage facilities, all deliberately hidden under civilians and civilian infrastructure (IDF).

Watch the Fed: Interest Rate Cuts Today?
The Federal Reserve Board meets today—and they are expected to cut interest rates, likely by a quarter point. Wall Street Journal: Federal Reserve officials spent months weighing competing risks—sticky inflation that argued against cutting rates and weaker job market conditions that argued for it. This week, they’re ready to take a side. Officials are widely expected to cut rates by a quarter percentage point Wednesday at the conclusion of their meeting, spurred by a recent downshift in job growth. Fed Chair Jerome Powell telegraphed the decision last month when he shifted toward prioritizing employment concerns over lingering inflation worries. The meeting is unfolding during an extraordinary political moment for the central bank, making it one of the strangest in years. It follows not only months of attacks from President Trump over the Fed’s reluctance to lower rates, but also parallel legal dramas that have cast doubt on who will attend the meeting (Wall Street Journal). Dmitri Bolt of Townhall: Markets have already priced in the move, with the CME FedWatch tool showing a 96 percent probability of a quarter-point cut with just 4 percent odds of a deeper half-point reduction. President Trump has been calling on Powell to cut rates for months, even toying with the idea of ousting the Fed chair. Now, with the economy flashing signs of weakness beyond only inflation, Powell’s move may hand Trump the monetary easing he has long demanded (Townhall).

Biden Administration’s “Arctic Frost” Included Investigation of Turning Point USA
Matt Margolis of PJ Media: FBI Director Kash Patel faced questions during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday morning, during which Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) revealed that whistleblower revelations showed that Joe Biden’s FBI targeted not just Donald Trump, but a wide swath of Republican organizations — including Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA.… According to Grassley, newly obtained records show that the Arctic Frost probe was far broader than previously known. “The case was expanded to Republican organizations,” Grassley explained. “Some examples of the group that Wray and FBI sought to place under political investigation included the Republican National Committee, Republican Attorney General’s Association, and various Trump political groups.” The scope was staggering. “In total, 92 Republican targets…. “On that political list was one of Charlie Kirk’s groups, Turning Point USA.” Grassley argued that the evidence proves that Arctic Frost was more than just an anti-Trump operation. It was actually about crippling the Republican political infrastructure (PJ Media).

ABC Reports on “Very Touching” Correspondence Between the Man Charged With Kirk Assassination and His Transgender Lover
  1. ABC Reports on “Very Touching” Correspondence Between the Man Charged With Kirk Assassination and His Transgender Lover

The report is from Matt Gutman. They seem to be doing all they can to present a sympathetic picture of a man charged with a cold-blooded assassination. Curtis Houck of Newsbusters: Gutman was reporting from the site of the press conference when he told World News Tonight anchor David Muir something “that stood out” was “those text messages” between the suspect and his roommate/lover. “I don’t know if we have seen an alleged murder with such specific text messages about the alleged murder weapon, where it was hidden, how it was placed, what was on it, but also it was very touching in a way that I think many of us didn’t expect,” Gutman declared. But, wait, there was more: “A very intimate portrait into this relationship between the suspect’s roommate and the suspect himself, with him repeatedly calling his roommate, who is transitioning, calling him ‘my love’ and ‘I want to protect you, my love.’” He finished this stunning piece of outrageous analysis by asserting a “duality” of both murder and love: So, it was this duality of someone who the attorney said not only jeopardized the life of Charlie Kirk and the crowd, but was doing it in front of children, which is one of the aggravating circumstances of this case. And then, on the other hand, he was, you know, speaking so lovingly about his partner. So, a very interesting and, as Pierre [Thomas] said, riveting press conference[.] (Newsbusters). Bonchie: I’m at a loss for words…. Tyler Robinson murdered a husband and father of two young children in cold blood, and ABC News is all but justifying it by explaining that the shooter just wanted to “protect” his trans-furry boyfriend and that their relationship was “touching.” The level of depravity in Gutman’s description of the situation that way is unfathomable (Red State).

Watch: Left Is Trying to Make Alleged Kirk Killer Another Luigi Mangione
The mouthpieces of elite media are trying to make him an endearing character, speaking of their “very touching” post-assassination correspondence. Krystal Ball is talking about the two alleged murderers in similarly light tones: Liberal pundit Krystal Ball quipped that Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, is “not as good-looking” as suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione to amass a following. Ball appeared on her YouTube program, “Breaking Points,” over the weekend to discuss the latest news on Robinson, when guest Emily Jashinsky chimed in about the bizarre phenomenon of murderers who attract a “cult following” after making headlines for their heinous crimes. “You end up with a Charles Manson cult around someone, a cult following where people are obsessed and get fixated on someone in prison,” Jashinsky said (New York Post). Moral inversion.

No Discernable Signs of Introspection From the Left
Elie Mystal, writing in the Nation, feigns ignorance of the ideological motive behind the assassination and refuses to show any discernable signs of introspection. The title of his piece: “How to Canonize a White Supremacist.” He writes: HBCUs in the state of Virginia were forced to cancel classes after they received a number of credible threats. To recap, a white man was murdered by another white man for reasons we don’t yet know, but somehow that means Black people have to catch hell…. For other people—say, for instance, the gay people who would have been stoned to death had Kirk been more effective in his political goals—Kirk was not merely a distasteful provocateur, his ideology was a threat to their very existence. Charlie Kirk represented the very worst American political discourse had to offer, and I wish he were still alive so I could tell that to him, to his face, over and over again (Nation).

Scott Jennings: “It's dangerous and irresponsible for nobody to take responsibility for 10 YEARS of the use of the language 'fascism, Nazis, authoritarian'”
Amy Curtis for Townhall: Media outlets are running interference for Robinson. CBS said the alleged shooter’s motive “remains elusive,” and Scott MacFarlane said on “Face the Nation” that “there is no indication or no idea yet” if transgenderism played a role in this shooting. Scott Jennings went on CNN and absolutely destroyed his fellow panelists: “I think it’s dangerous and irresponsible for nobody to take responsibility for 10 YEARS of the use of the language ‘fascism, Nazis, authoritarian,’ so on and so forth! It’s on the BULLET CASING.” “‘Why did I do it? I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.’ That’s the message Tyler Robinson sent to his roommate. That is what he said. He also engraved the word, ‘hey, fascist, catch’ on the bullet.” “For 10 YEARS, we have heard nothing from the left but that Donald Trump is a fascist, Republicans are Nazis, authoritarians, destroy the Constitution, bloodbath, he wrote it on the BULLET! And he’s been obviously marinating in some kind of information that radicalized him based on what he heard in the air in this country!” “[The prosecutor] read very lucid messages from a shooter who was motivated by political hate who had a plan to get away with it. He did not sound like a deranged person. He sounded like someone who had decided to take it upon himself to rid the world of someone that he hated politically, that he thought that the world would be better off without!” (Townhall).
