Dear Friend,

Australia stands at a crossroads.

Down one path lies bigger government, higher spending, higher debt, and eventually higher taxes.

Down the other path is responsibility. Living within our means. Strengthening our economy. Handing our children a nation in better shape, not worse.

As I said today: the time of dependency needs to give way to a new age of empowerment. We must adopt some core economic principles:

- Government should live within its means, just as households do.
- Aspiration and hard work must be encouraged and rewarded, not punished by higher taxes.
- Welfare must remain a safety net for the vulnerable, not a hammock for those who can provide for themselves.
- Every new dollar of spending should be matched by a saving, a reprioritisation, or a reform that makes government leaner.

Strong finances are the foundation for strong services in health, education, and security.

Labor is being “generous” with borrowed money. Government spending has blown out to 27% of GDP - the highest level outside a recession since 1986.

This year’s budget papers show a decade of deficits ahead.

Every two minutes, the interest bill on Labor’s debt means one less nurse. Every four minutes, one less doctor.

We cannot leave the next generation with a credit card bill for today’s politics.

The Coalition will turn the tide on debt. We will restore responsibility, fairness between generations, and empowerment for Australians.

But to make that a reality in 2028, we need your support now.

Your donation will help us build the case for a stronger economy and responsible government — and ensure we can take this fight directly to Labor.

Together, we can hand the next generation opportunity, not debt.
