This week, Brian marks his Alive Day—the day in Afghanistan when an IED nearly took his life.

He lost both legs and part of his arm that day. But what he didn’t lose was his will to serve.

From Walter Reed to Congress, Brian has kept the promise he made in that hospital bed: that the greatest service he would give to America would never be behind him.
