Friend,

Today is National Voter Registration Day, and I couldn’t pass up this opportunity to remind everyone of the power and privilege of the vote.

Voting is a critical part of our democracy, and a responsibility I do not take lightly. Here in Washington, we have critical local elections coming up, and we have the responsibility to decide how we invest in our communities and protect what matters most.

Your vote is your voice – and it will decide the future of our cities, states, and our entire country.

Especially when we have a President who wants to do away with mail-in voting entirely (a direct attack on our democracy and voting rights), strong local leadership matters more than ever.

I’m working to make sure each and every voter can make their voice heard at the ballot box, but I need you to stand with me. Add your name with mine to say: We won’t let anyone take away our right to vote.

PROTECT VOTING RIGHTS

Thanks for stepping up.

Marko.

P.S. Ballots will arrive in mailboxes in just a few weeks, so now is the time to make sure your information is up-to-date and accurate. Visit VoteWA.gov to check your registration status.
