Hi, it's Raul,
I'm working overtime on the issues that matter : lowering grocery costs, strengthening our economy, and ensuring quality, accessible healthcare.
When I was a student, pursuing my Master's in Public Policy and my Master's in Public Health, I was taught that effective and influential policy requires working with data and facts.
But here's the problem — Republicans use alternative facts to shape their dangerous policies.
Whether it’s their policies on vaccine safety, tariffs, public education, or public funding for scientific research, the MAGA agenda is based on extremist beliefs and not reality.
I'm not afraid to call them out on basing public policing on fake facts and their extremist agenda, even when it makes me a target. That's exactly why they're coming after me.

The son of hardworking farmworkers, Dr. Ruiz grew up in Coachella, CA and learned at an early age that the key to attaining the American Dream is hard work and a great education. In the summer of 1990, Raul walked in the desert heat from business to business in the Coachella Valley asking them to invest in their community by contributing to his education. With each investment for college, he made a promise to come back home and serve his community as a physician. In 2012, he decided to take his service to the community to the next level by running for Congress. Dr. Ruiz needs our help to continue fighting for us in Congress.
