Fellow Conservative,
Like you, I’m outraged and heartbroken over the senseless murder of Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee, stabbed to death on Charlotte’s light rail. The man charged, Decarlos Brown Jr., had 14 arrests for violent crimes, including assault and armed robbery, yet he was walking free. Why? Because former Governor Roy Cooper’s soft-on-crime policies let dangerous criminals like Brown back onto our streets.
Roy Cooper’s 2020 executive order, pushing lenient pretrial release policies, kept criminals like Brown out of jail, endangering lives like Iryna’s. Three months after Cooper’s order, Brown was released — and arrested three more times between 2021 and 2025. Now, a young woman is gone, and Cooper wants to represent us in the U.S. Senate? Enough is enough.
I’m asking you to join me in demanding accountability. Roy Cooper’s dangerous policies have failed North Carolina, and we can’t let him take them to Washington. Sign our petition today to tell Roy Cooper to drop out of the 2026 Senate race. SIGN THE PETITION NOW Iryna Zarutska deserved to feel safe in America. Instead, Cooper’s weak-on-crime approach let a career criminal roam free, with devastating consequences. We need to send a clear message: leaders who prioritize criminals over families have no place in the Senate.
This petition isn’t just a signature – it’s a stand for justice, for Iryna, and for every North Carolinian who deserves to live without fear. Will you add your name today and help me hold Roy Cooper accountable?
Thank you, Dr. Greg Murphy
