John,
I'm writing to you from my hometown of El Paso, Texas. Republicans here are advancing a bill that would allow private citizens to sue medical providers who prescribe or dispense medication abortion.
Since the overturn of Roe v. Wade, Texas has become a canary in the coal mine for anti-choice legislation. History has shown us that if we don't stop this dangerous anti-choice strategy here in Texas, then Republicans will be bolstered to take it nationwide.
Here's what it's going to take to stop them: Democratic pro-choice women.
Before I tell you more about how we're fighting back, will you chip in now to support EMILYs List women on the frontlines of the fight for our fundamental freedoms?

Here at EMILYs List, we're recruiting Democratic pro-choice women leaders in Texas — and across the country — to fight back against the GOP's extremist agenda. We endorse at every level and support candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
As I write this, our best-in-the-business campaigns team is identifying, training, and endorsing women who are ready to run — and win. Because every win we deliver in Texas is a win for reproductive rights everywhere.
Let's make sure Texas is where the GOP's extremist playbook fails.
Donate now to support our work electing pro-choice fighters up and down the ballot:
