John, this is down-right unconscionable.

This week, the 6-3 MAGA majority Supreme Court, using the shadow docket to rule without explanation, has allowed ICE to use racial profiling across the country.

The Fourth Amendment guarantees that we who live in this country are protected from unreasonable detention and arrest based on racial profiling by law officers. Our Supreme Court is supposed to hold the executive accountable for any overreach that violates those rights.

But now, depending on the color of your skin, the way your voice sounds when you speak, and where you go to get honest work, you're no longer protected.

John, I've been saying our rights are on the line for years, and as we get further into the Trump administration, we are seeing them vanish in real time. The best way to stop this overreach, reverse these decisions, and fully protect our rights is by Democrats taking back power in Congress during the midterm elections next year.

This ruling is not the final word in the case…

But the court’s MAGA majority will allow Trump to continue using aggressive and unconstitutional tactics in immigration sweeps while they take months or even years to make a decision, and we're already seeing what happens in the meantime:

Last week in Georgia, ICE conducted the largest-ever Homeland Security enforcement operation at a single location—detaining nearly 500 people, including U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.

John, folks in our communities are terrified and can't afford for the courts to brush off these issues and let Trump's agenda play out, especially when they're too unqualified to even do their "jobs" correctly.

We MUST make sure our Supreme Court is working in the interest of the people, and that's why I've introduced several bills to raise the standard on judicial ethics, implement term limits for justices, and require court transparency.

But we need a Democratic majority in Congress to pass them through, and we can't have that without 1️⃣, defending the seats we have and 2️⃣, flipping ones we don't during the 2026 midterm elections.
