John,
When I ask for your support of this grassroots campaign, I do so knowing that every donation is personal.
It's folks like you choosing to spend a little extra and make an investment into our movement. And I appreciate each and every donation we receive, especially when times are hard.
So I can't tell you what it means to me that we met last month's quarterly fundraising goal -- all thanks to grassroots supporters like you stepping up to chip in what you can.
June was a turning point for America, as folks all across this nation joined together to demand an end to injustice for Black communities, all amidst the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. I'm proud of how many Washingtonians I saw speak out and call for change. Change like the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2020 that I supported in the House.
Our country still has a long way to go. We have historical injustices that will take time to overcome. And we must do all we can to save lives and jobs in the face of COVID-19 -- and bring an end to the pandemic.
Last month, I worked to make sure the Heroes Act included funding to help save 60 million jobs. I promise to continue that work in July and beyond.
I'm all in to fight for you, and I'm always so glad to know I'm not in this fight alone.
Thank you for all your support,
Suzan

The number one priority during this time is to make sure everyone helps mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Washington state and across the country. Our campaign is doing our part by canceling all in-person events, moving to a digital operation, and supporting local efforts to help those in need. Emails like this are a critical part of our ability to run a strong campaign.
