Dear friends,
On October 22 and November 13, 2025, Catholics across the U.S. are invited to join a national day of public witness for our immigrant brothers and sisters.
This effort builds on the binational Mass at the U.S.–Mexico border in San Luis, just 10 days earlier, where Bishops from both countries will raise their voices about the urgent crisis facing migrants. Together, we will carry that cry for justice into our communities.
We are calling on dioceses, parishes, schools, religious communities, and organizations to host local public actions that lift up the dignity of migrants—especially in the places where that dignity is most often denied.

This may look like:
* A vigil or prayer service where migrants have been detained or on the grounds of your parish or campus.
* A rosary accompanying neighbors facing immigration court
* A rally, press conference, or other action
* Organizing a letter writing campaign or a call-in day with your parish or campus calling on our elected officials to uphold the dignity of migrants in our country
As Catholics, we reject the culture of fear and silence that dehumanizes. Instead, we choose to stand with migrants. Together, our voices will send a powerful message: we are one Church, one family.
