Good morning Young Democrats,

The polls have closed on CYD’s recent electronic vote of the CYD State Leadership Committee, and CYD officially endorsed YES on the Election Rigging Response Act (aka Proposition 50) appearing on November 4th, 2025, special election ballots.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN: CYD’s next State Leadership Committee (SLC) meeting will be next month in Monterey, October 24th - 26th at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa (1 Old Golf Course Rd, Monterey, CA, 93940) in conjunction with the California Democratic Party Executive Board meeting. At the upcoming meeting in Monterey ([link removed]) , we will work together to craft a CYD platform ([link removed]) that loudly proclaims our values and provides a real democratic vision, instead of Trump's authoritarianism. We will also mobilize in support of the Yes on Proposition 50 campaign because the biggest fight for democracy in 2025 is right here in California!
