That’s a serious problem, because we know just how close elections in Virginia can be. In 2021, the governor’s race was decided by less than 2 points. If we let up even a little now, we run the risk of another four years of a Republican governor — one who will use their power to attack reproductive rights, block progress for working families, and toe the line for Donald Trump.
Every dollar we raise right now goes directly into the final organizing push: phone banks, canvasses, ads, and mailers that reach the voters who decide razor-thin elections.
Providing these resources will keep the Assembly blue and usher in a new era of leadership under Abigail Spanberger at the top of the ticket.
If 500 people chip in today, we’ll be back on track to fully fund our field plan and protect the firewall we’ve built in Virginia. Without that support, we risk being outspent and out-organized by Trump’s billionaire-backed machine.
The last few elections have proven that Virginia is a battleground. A handful of votes can decide the balance of power – and the course of the next four years.
