Friend,

Yesterday, I joined NewsNation to discuss the latest on the National Guard and Memphis.

The police chief there, Chief Davis, is a longtime friend. And I’m glad that President Trump and Governor Lee are stepping up to help make that city safe again.

I hope you’ll watch it here or below.

There’s a narrative on the far-left that the National Guard is the enemy. That’s just plain wrong.

The men and women of the National Guard are fellow Americans and they’re helping keep communities safe.

We’ve seen their success with lower crime rates in our nation’s capital, despite a lot of hysteria and falsehoods. National Guard soldiers are serving as guarantors of peace.

I was proud to serve in the Guard, enlisting as a private and retiring as a major general. And I’m proud to support their mission today, and President Trump’s mission to get tough on crime.

I hope you’ll watch the interview and share with your friends.

Thank you,

John King
