In two weeks, we face an important FEC reporting deadline -- the first one since we learned that Republicans are pushing a mid-decade redraw of South Carolina’s congressional map.

This isn’t just about South Carolina -- it’s part of Trump’s nationwide strategy to hold on to power by stealing seats in the House long before people even get a chance to vote:
* TEXAS: Republicans already passed a new map that eliminates FIVE seats currently held by Democrats
*
* MISSOURI: GOP legislatures are one step closer to passing a Trump-approved map that would give Republicans another seat in Congress while pushing out MO’s only Black House Democrat
*
* OHIO, FLORIDA, INDIANA: All signs point that Republican-controlled legislatures are caving to pressure from Trump and working to dismantle Democratic strongholds
Republicans are moving ahead with their plans to carve up communities and silence voices. We must do everything in our power to stop them.
