Over the past year, the successes of our Farm Transitions program have been growing like lettuce under 600 Watt grow lights. This past May, our pilot farm unveiled its first harvest. The once Tyson-contracted chicken farm in Southeast Alabama now grows salad greens that are being sold in nearby grocery stores and provided to local school districts in an amazing win for everyone involved. As a result of this work:
Over 400,000 chickens are spared a life of suffering in the animal agriculture industry annually
Thousands of children have access to fresh, locally grown produce
Farmers across the country have a practical, real-world model for transition to inspire their own journey

Even more important, the right people are taking notice. This summer, our pilot farm was visited by the Mayor of Dothan, Alabama, three Alabama State Representatives and Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King and an advisor to the USDA. All of these government officials pledged their support for Animal Outlook's program and in the coming months, we'll work with stakeholders across the country to help shape policies that assist farmers in getting out of animal agriculture.

Your support means more opportunities to network with farmers. It means more chances to meet with policymakers to support our work. It means faster and better transitions. And it means countless more animals spared from a life of cruelty.
Can we count on you today?
