A hummingbird playground featuring a lazy susan. A mallard mystery! Inside the all-out, 16-state mission to save the American Oystercatcher. Where can you find all these stories? Audubon magazine, of course! Amid this code-red climate crisis, with one-third of U.S. bird species in need of conservation action, there’s no better time to stay informed on the issues birds face and learn what inspiring people are doing to protect them. When you join us as an annual supporter today, we’ll send you the latest in bird and conservation news in our exclusive award-winning magazine as a token of our appreciation. Give before September 30th to ensure you get the Winter issue of the magazine!

As fall migration reaches its peak, our research shows it can be the most perilous season for warblers. Unlike the fast, direct journeys of spring, their autumn routes are slower and more winding, exposing birds to environmental hazards for longer periods. Add deforestation, climate change, and other human-driven threats, and it becomes even harder for species like the Black-throated Blue Warbler to safely reach their breeding and wintering grounds—putting entire populations at risk.

These birds urgently need the protection of people who care about them and are ready to help—people like you. So please, join us in safeguarding birds with a dependable annual gift while you can still receive the next issue of Audubon magazine as our thanks.

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
