If my name sounds familiar, it’s because I produced the film Sound of Freedom. After the film, I helped launch the Sound of Freedom Foundation to turn awareness into action, to rescue children, support survivors, and fight the human trafficking of children. 

The reality is heartbreaking: trafficking victims often come face-to-face with a police officer, nurse, or probation officer who could help them, but because most first responders aren’t trained to recognize the signs, those children walk away unseen. 

That has to change. 

That’s why we fund First Responder Boot Camps, intensive, hands-on training that equips everyday heroes.

This training is already saving lives. In Nebraska, trained investigators uncovered a trafficking ring in motels and salons, rescuing 27 victims, including 10 children under 12.  

In Colorado, training has been so effective that the state now requires it for every new law enforcement recruit. Since then, they’ve filed more than 150 trafficking cases. 

The results are undeniable: when training happens, rescues follow.
