One of the most important lessons I learned growing up was simple: when you see something wrong, you stand up and do something about it. That's what democracy is all about — ordinary people having a voice, and using it to make change.
Today is National Voter Registration Day, and it's the perfect reminder to make sure your voice will be heard in the next election. Due to a new voter rule in Wisconsin, if you haven't voted in four years and you did not respond to postcards telling you how to stay on the list, your name could have been purged from the statewide voter list – 192,000 names were just dropped in the last purge!
So please, take two minutes right now to check your voter registration. [[link removed]]

Too often, politicians try to silence voters rather than listen to them. We've seen restrictions, rollbacks, and deliberate efforts to make it harder for people to cast a ballot. It's dangerous for our democracy.
The best way to fight back is to make sure you, your friends, and your family are registered and ready to vote. Every election matters. Every vote matters. Your voice matters.
So please, take a moment today to check your voter registration so you're all set for the next election. [[link removed]]
Together, we can protect our democracy and make sure Wisconsin families have leaders who work for them — not corporations and special interests.
