Help Us Register Voters

Thirty percent of voters who don’t vote say it’s because they are too busy. We need volunteers to help register voters and provide info about absentee vote-by-mail.

Vote Absentee-by-Mail

Polling sites will be open for the primary and general elections, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Teton County Clerk's Office is encouraging all voters to vote absentee-by-mail this year.

1. In order to vote absentee-by-mail you must first be registered.

How to Register to Vote

2. You must request an absentee ballot.

The State of Wyoming sent the request form to all registered voters. If you got it, send in your request. If not, click the button below or call the Clerk’s Office at 307-733-4430 or email [email protected].
Request an Absentee Ballot

3. Send in your ballot when you receive it in the mail.

All absentee ballots must be received in the County Clerk's Office by 7 p.m. on the day of the election to be counted.

Other Ways to Vote Absentee

Vote at the Absentee Polling Place

Teton County has an absentee polling place that is located in the basement of the Teton County Administration Building at 200 S Willow Street in Jackson, open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

July 2, 2020 to August 17, 2020 for the Primary Election

September 18, 2020 to November 2, 2020 for the General Election

You can also vote at one of three designated vote centers on election day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Pick Up a Ballot at the Absentee Polling Place

You can also stop by the absentee polling site and pick up a ballot and take it home with you. You will need to fill out the absentee ballot request form in order to pick up a ballot.

Pick Up a Ballot on Behalf of Someone Else

If you are picking up a ballot on behalf of someone else, you need to provide the County Clerk's Office with a completed absentee ballot request form from that person, or provide a hand-written note from the person that gives you permission to pick up their ballot.
