First: MI-04 has gotten steadily more and more blue over the last few years. Gov. Whitmer won this district in 2022 – so we know that there are folks in this district who are ready and willing for Democratic leadership.

Then: Jessica and our district were put on the DCCC’s Red to Blue Target list – meaning they see that we can flip, and they’re prepared to invest in us.

NOW: A new report came out that noted that Huizenga is still undecided about running for re-election and Republicans are terrified about the future of this seat.

Republicans are so focused on creating a backup plan that they aren’t spending time actually investing in this district. We must take advantage of this. With National Republicans currently on the back foot, we need to make a BIG splash, prove that Jessica is prepared to win this race, and that the district has her back.
