John,
Today is National Voter Registration Day, and I want to take a moment to reflect on the power we have when we use our voice at the ballot box.
When I cast my vote, I think of the people too often pushed aside in our political debates. It guides me in public service and it is what grounds me each time I mark my ballot.
But this vision of democracy — where every voice is valued — is under threat. The current administration is working to redraw congressional maps to weaken representation, to make voting by mail harder, and to chip away at access to the ballot box. These efforts are designed to keep power in the hands of a few while silencing millions of Americans.
That is why today matters. National Voter Registration Day is an opportunity to recommit ourselves to protecting the right to vote, to ensuring every citizen has a say in shaping our shared future. The strength of our democracy depends on us refusing to be silent in the face of those who would take that right away. Add your name to demand the protection of our right to vote>>

Democracy only works when we all participate. Let’s make our voices heard.
With gratitude,
Chris
