It's National Voter Registration Day!

We're gearing up for big changes in Oklahoma in 2026 as we build the infrastructure for our winning candidates and county parties. But turning that momentum into victory depends upon all of us doing our part to get folks registered and engaged!

This National Voter Registration Day, OKDEMS is on the verge of launching an effort to target likely Democratic voters in key swing districts. 

This model has registered tens of thousands of voters around the country and helped Democrats around the country cross the finish line strong to oust Republicans. 

Last year, an extremist Republican won HD 100 by just 287 votes, in HD 64 a right-wing legislator bought and paid for by the Private Prison Lobby won by 766 votes. 

I'm tired of seeing Democrats come close in Oklahoma. And I'm just as tired of Republicans who win close elections acting like everyone agrees with them.

Today, you can help us flip red seats and elect fierce Democrats by contributing to our Targeted Voter Registration Drive. 

National Voter Registration Week runs September 15–21, with National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, September 16. But we’re going further: the Oklahoma Democratic Party is extending this challenge through the end of October.

This effort is about more than registering new voters; it's about increasing visibility in your community and showing voters that not only do we exist, we're determined to earn their support.
