After law school—where he led nationally recognized conservative legal groups—Aaron practiced law in Houston, clerked for Texas Supreme Court Justice Jimmy Blacklock, and served as Deputy Attorney General for Legal Strategy under Ken Paxton. In that role, he led Texas's legal pushback against Biden's abuses of power, helping sue the administration 46 times.
Aaron went on to serve as Chief of Staff to Senator Ted Cruz, managing major policy efforts on border security, online child protection, and job creation. After President Trump's 2024 re-election, he appointed Aaron to lead the DOJ's Office of Legal Policy under Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Beyond his resume, Aaron is a husband, father of four, and a Texan who lives by the words: Don't mess with Texas.
