Every once in a while, it’s good to remind ourselves and our friends
of HOW MUCH POLITICAL MALPRACTICE GOES UNNOTICED AND UNPUNISHED.
It’s not always as obvious as my opponent opposing the Green New
Deal, Medicare for All, or a Universal Basic Income during the
COVID-19 crisis. Let’s just take one example:

On May 8, 2020, my opponent, Frank Pallone, issued a statement touting
his work to secure billions of dollars for hospitals in the
Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

On May 25, the New York Times reported

that much of the money Pallone fought for went to the nation’s
wealthiest hospitals, rather than ones struggling financially.

Then, on June 8, the New York Times reported

that many of the recipient hospitals had furloughed workers while
continuing to pay their CEOs millions of dollars.

There are two possible explanations for this disgraceful piece of
legislation: EITHER 1) PALLONE KNOWINGLY TRANSFERRED HUGE SUMS OF
TAXPAYER MONEY TO HIS CAMPAIGN DONORS, OR 2) PALLONE WROTE TERRIBLY
INEFFECTIVE LEGISLATION THAT LET THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION AND
CORPORATIONS ABUSE FUNDS MEANT FOR COVID-19 RELIEF.

Neither explanation makes Pallone look good. In fact, I’d argue that
either one is reason enough to vote him out. HE’S EITHER CORRUPT OR
HE’S STILL BAD AT HIS JOB AFTER 32 YEARS.
