John,
We’re halfway through the month, and our end-of-quarter deadline is fast approaching. We need to stay on track — not just to meet our goals, but to keep building the grassroots movement that Texas deserves.
Right now, we’re facing a serious challenge: Attorney General Ken Paxton is using the full weight of his office to come after us with politically motivated, baseless legal attacks.
It’s already costing us more than $300,000 in legal fees — money that should be going to registering voters, organizing volunteers, and turning out Texans in every part of the state.
That’s what this is really about: power. Ken Paxton knows we’re effective. He knows we’re organizing at a scale that threatens the status quo — and he’s trying to drain our resources so we can’t keep doing this work.
But we’re not going anywhere.
This isn’t the first time we’ve been underestimated — and it won’t be the last time we prove them wrong.
Thank you,
