We’re Veterans. We were trained to use rifles, pistols, machine guns. We carried them into war. Many of us own guns of our own.

We can tell you this, without doubt — the guns are the problem. Weapons of war have no place in civilian hands, on our streets, or in our communities. We have to take meaningful action to stop dangerous weapons from falling into the hands of dangerous people.

For twenty years, VoteVets has been working to build a political movement that takes meaningful action on gun violence. We are unapologetic about it, and we’re going to keep doing it for as long as it takes.
