This is it.

When I served in combat, every mission ended one of two ways: we completed the objective, or we didn’t. No excuses.

Tonight’s mid-month deadline is the same. At midnight, the window closes. The report we file tomorrow morning will show the strength of our campaign. If it shows weakness, the media and the Democrats will seize on it instantly.

I didn’t come home from Iraq to play it safe. I came home to build, to serve, and to fight for the community that raised me. From Detroit to every corner of this state, I’ve seen the grit of Michigan families. That’s why I know we can win.

But we cannot fall short tonight.

I’ve never left a mission unfinished. I won’t start now. But I can only complete this one if you’re flying with me in these final hours.
