My name is Graham Platner, and I’m the Marine Corps veteran and Democrat running for U.S. Senate against Susan Collins here in Maine.
For me, this stuff isn’t complicated.
There is a genocide happening right now in Palestine.
People are being kidnapped into unmarked vans by masked police and shipped off to foreign prisons.
We need once and for all to pass Medicare for All.
We must reject money from corporations, AIPAC, and special interests like Big Pharma and Big Oil.
We are in a fight right now – an actual fight – for the future of our democracy. It’s not a shooting war, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less real.
I know why my neighbors who supported Trump are mad. I’m mad too. I just know that the real people to blame are the billionaires and the systems built to protect them – not immigrants or trans kids.
The Democratic Party has lost its way – especially with working-class people like me. And replacing Susan Collins with another cookie-cutter corporate Democrat isn’t going to fix things.
If you’re ready to defeat Susan Collins and replace her with a Democrat – who will actually fight to protect our democracy against fascists – then I need you chip in right now to my campaign.

I never thought I’d run for office, let alone the United States Senate. But this is just too important a time in our history for me to sit on the sidelines.
